Department of Laboratory Medicine consists of 5 full-time faculty members and 3 fellows in Seoul and Guri Hospitals. Laboratory Medicine is subdivided into Diagnostic Hermatology, Clinical Chemistry, Clinical Microbiology, Diagnostic Immunology, Transfusion Medicine, Moleculargenetic Diagnositics. The department has 8 head professors for their respective subdivision, and their roles include deciphering, quality control, introducing new examinations, developing diagnostic methods, research, and educating medical students and residents.
