Department of pathology class in basic science department has two full-time professors, Professor Kong, Gu and Professor Chung, Hee-Kyoung. Professor Kong, Gu is focusing on epigenetics in breast cancer with research professor, postdoctoral fellows and graduate students at 4th floor in first hall of Seoul campus. Professor Chung, Hee-Kyoung is continuing her research on leukemia and on epigenetics in Glioblastoma Multiforme with postdoctoral fellows and graduate students after she has moved to 12th floor in FTC of Seoul campus where biomedical research institute is located.
Department of pathology in Hanyang University Seoul Hospital is located in 7th floor of the new hall and has 4 full-time professors and full-time fellows. Also located in 4th floor of the main building in Guri Hospital, the department consists of 2 full-time professors and research clinical professors. The department is exchanging its academic achievements with other clinical science departments to improve diagnosis and treatment.
