Biomedical Engineering

Department of Biomedical Engineering consists of one full-time professor(Kim, In-Young), 6 participate professors(Kim, Sun-Ill, Kim, Seon-Jeong, Lee, Jong-Min, Jang, Dong-Pyo, Im, Chang-Hwan, Yoo, Hong-Ki), research professors and researchers. The department is renowned research center in the field and showed technological advances in bio-signal processing, medical imaging system processing, medical virtual reality and neurotechnology. Having fostered numerous promising researchers, hundreds of articles have been published in internationally prominent magazines and 20 billions of investment has been funded for last 10 years. Professors in the Department served as president in various societies and as director and chef in government research centers, which helped them to contribute to the biomedical engineering technological advances. Also the Department has conducted collaborative research in medical instrument with major companies such as Samsung and LG, and also with other venture companies.
