■ 자기소개
현재 한양대학교 서울병원 소아청소년과 신생아중환자실 부교수로 재직 중인 이현주 교수는 조선대학교 의과대학을 졸업하고 이화여대 의학석사, 서울대학교에서 의학박사를 취득하였다.
주요 진료 및 연구 분야는 신생아학 및 뇌발달의학으로 특히 미숙아, 신생아들의 장기 예후 예측 및 진단의 영역에서 활발한 연구를 진행 중이다. 소아 및 신생아에서 연구하기 어려운 뇌분야 – 뇌발달에 관심을 가지고 대한민국에서 의학-공학의 융합연구에 있어 다양한 학술활동을 통해 선구적인 역할을 주도하고 있다. 또한, 한양대학교병원 발달의학센터 참여중이며 (국내 최초 보건복지부 지정 발달장애인 거점병원), 공과대학과의 끊임없는 융합연구를 통해 “2020년 한국연구재단 뇌질환극복연구사업”의 공동연구로 참여하게 되었으며 우수한 연구성과를 논문으로 다수 발표한 바 있다. 2010년 이래로 소아 뇌발달에 관심을 가지며 활발한 학술활동 및 연구활동을 통해 다양한 학술상 수상을 하였으며 대표 업적으로는 주산의학회 우수논문상(2011), 아시아학회 젊은과학자상 (2012), 대한신생아 학회 우수논문상 (2012), 대한주산의학회 남양학술상 (2017) 등 총 6편의 수상 이력이 있다.
