■ 자기소개
현재 한양대학교 서울병원 소아청소년과 과장 및 신생아중환자실 실장으로 재직 중인 박현경 교수는 한양대학교 의과대학을 졸업하고 한양대학교 의료원에서 소아청소년과 전문의를 취득하였으며, 한양대학교 대학원에서 의학석사/박사 학위, 미국 하버드 대학에서 포닥을 취득하였다.
주요 진료와 연구 분야는 신생아학이며 2004년 미숙 하버드 대학에 정식 연구원으로 지원하여 미국 의사 면허증 소지자 우대 전형에서 선발되어 세계적 명성의 neuroscience 연구센터에서 근무한 바 있고, 이후 신생아 뇌질환 연구를 하고 있다. 한양의대 교수 임용 후 다시 하버드 대학의 초대를 받아 교환교수 신분으로 두 번째 근무의 영광을 얻은 바 있다. 또한, 미숙아들의 장기 추적 관찰을 위한 한양대병원 발달의학센터에 참여하고 있으며(국내 최초 보건복지부 지정 발달장애인 거점병원), 공대와의 융합연구를 적극적으로 추진하고 있다(미래창조과학부 융합연구 30억 과제 수주, 한양대를 대표하는 MEB(Medicine-Engineering-Bio) 센터의 센터장을 역임하고 있다. 2019년에는 이러한 노력들을 인정받아 보건복지부 장관 표창장을 수상하였다.
