현재 한양대학교 의과대학의 응급의학교실 교수로 재직 중이며, 한양대학교 의과대학을 졸업하고 동대학원 석/박사(의공학), 한양대학교 병원에서 응급의학과 전문의를 취득하였다. 임상분야는 주전공은 소생/재난의학과 노인응급의학이며, 현재 대한응급의학회 간행위원 등으로 활동하고 있다. 최근 응급영상인공지능 연구를 활발히 진행하고 있다.
