현재 한양대학교 의과대학 내과학교실의 교수로 재직 중인 전재범 교수는 한양대학교 의과대학을 졸업하고 한양대학교에서 의학 박사학위를 취득하였다.
한양대학교 류마티스병원에서 근무하며 진료업무도 수행하고 있으며 경피증클리닉과 통풍클리닉을 운영하고 있다.
현재 대한내과학회의 감사, 류마티스학연구재단의 감사, 대한류마티스학회 경피증연구회 회장으로 활동중이다.
