졸업하였고, 세브란스병원에서 수련을 마친 후, 현재 한양대학교
의과대학 내과학교실 교수 및 한양대학교 구리병원 소화기내과 진료를 맡고 있습니다.

■ 관심분야
위암의 예방과 치료에 관한 연구를 주로 진행하였고, 특히 조기위암의 내시경치료법인 내시경점막하박리술의 안전성과 효과를 평가한 연구를 다수 수행하였습니다. 또한, 위암의 발병 기전을 규명하기 위해 헬리코박터 파일로리를 포함한
위 내 미생물총의 분석 연구도 진행중입니다.
