■ 자기소개
현재 한양대학교 의과대학의 교수로 재직 중인 김정목 교수는 한양대학교 의과대학을 졸업하고 한양대학교에서 의학(미생물학 및 면역학 전공) 박사학위를 취득하였다.
주요 연구 분야는 장내미생물 감염에 대한 감염면역학이며, 점막면역연구실을 운영하면서 Journal of Immunology, Journal of Clinical Investigation, Infection and Immunity 등 국내외 학술지에 270여 편의 논문을 발표한 바 있다.
대한내과학회 학술상, 한국과학기술단체총연합회 과학기술우수논문상, 일본헬리코박터학회 Scientific Award, 한양대학교 연구업적우수교수상 등을 수상했으며, 현재 대한미생물학회 회장, 대한감염학회 회장, 대한항균요법학회 이사, 질병관리본부 유전자변형생물체 보건안전전문가위원 및 인체위해성평가 심사위원장, 질병관리본부 한국생물안전안내서 편집위원장 등으로 활동하고 있다.
